Our reclaimed table stock lumber is available in many species - all beautiful and ready to be crafted into a surface that will be loved and used for generations. They range in color, tone, and character and can be found in a range of thicknesses, widths, and lengths.

We've pulled together six specific lots to show you here, but our inventory constantly rotates with new possibilities available. Please ask us about options for your project!

WILD TURKEY BARREL RACK HARDWOODS:

The complete package: history, function, and beautiful potential. This lumber was used in the Wild Turkey distillery to hold white oak barrels as the bourbon inside aged. It comes in a mix of hardwoods, including red oak, white oak, and maple. After traveling to us from Kentucky, these pieces were re-milled with a bright surface and straight-line ripped to a uniform thickness. They would also look fantastic as an architectural accent, like a vertical divider wall.

HEMLOCK THRESHER FLOORING:

Thresher flooring is salvaged from the ground levels of barns, where wheat grain was separated from the stalk. As you would expect, lumber from this threshing area of old barns saw plenty of use by people, animals, and equipment. The boards were sturdy and typically thicker to withstand this high use, and the material is rich in character.

WALNUT TABLE STOCK:

This lot is all you would hope to find in dimensional walnut stock and more. Most boards have a robust heartwood color, with a few pieces also exhibiting a lighter sapwood tone. Expect knots in these pieces, which range in character from a select to rustic grade. The range of thicknesses and widths in this straight-line-ripped lumber makes any number of applications possible.

REDWOOD SLABS:

California redwoods are now an endangered treasure. We were lucky to salvage these old-growth redwood slabs from the leftovers of past logging operations. None have been cut from fresh-felled trees. Each slab has been selected for superlative grain, live edge character, and workability. Slabs are unfinished and ready for you to sand and apply the finish best for your restaurant, office, or home. We have over one hundred redwood slabs available to browse at our Berwick, Maine, and Cambridge, Massachusetts showrooms.

WE DO CUSTOM MILLING:

One of the things that sets us apart from most lumber providers is our ability to work with customers looking for material that we might not currently have in stock. We love to work with homeowners, designers, and builders to capture their personal visions, milling table stock our customer's exact specifications.

Heart Pine, American chestnut, hemlock, walnut, oak, maple, and other species are regularly part of our beam inventory. Board character runs from refined to distressed, and each lot of wood at our mill in Berwick, Maine, is unique. After the lumber is kiln-dried, boards can be milled in various ways: rough cut, surfaced, and skip-planed.

We welcome visitors to our two locations and look forward to showing you around. You can browse to see what possibilities exist and talk with us about how our custom milling capabilities can facilitate your project.
