Wire-brushed lumber preserves the original surface of the boards, while cleaning off loose debris and dirt. The resulting rustic surface exposes original saw marks and character imperfections. This type of planing is different from bright-planed and skip-planed reclaimed wood paneling, which each offer a different reclaimed wood surface type.
