Emerald Ash Flooring

Our Emerald Ash was installed in this private home as part of a renovation project. Ash has a captivating grain that can easily handle the deeper tones that emerge when the flooring is topped with an oil-based finish, as was the case here. This durable and stable flooring was a great choice for this family home.
 
Unlike our usual reclaimed wood material, this ash was milled from salvaged new-growth trees decimated by the Emerald Ash Borer and kept from otherwise becoming wood waste.
 
Finish Used: Oil-based polyurethane.
