Heart Pine Flooring: #1 Vertical and #1 Flatsawn Grades

The Judd Foundation has recently completed a seven-year effort to reconstruct and restore Donald Judd’s Architecture Office in Marfa, Texas. Built in 1907, the two-story brick building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is now open to the public with guided visit program.

Longleaf Lumber provided over 4,000 square feet of clear vertical grain and flatsawn reclaimed Heart Pine flooring for the first and second floors.

Much has been written about Donald Judd: his impressive artistic work and his influence on art, architecture, and design. The Judd Foundation’s website is a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about this American artist and the work being done to preserve his legacy.
