Reclaimed Barn Board & Barn Wood

Channeling the flavor of rural and agrarian American culture, barn board’s rugged background and versatility in application make it one of the most popular salvaged woods. Centuries of weathering in direct sunlight, intense humidity, and bone-chilling winters leaves every barn wood board with a furrowed texture and more general surface character than any other reclaimed wood. Colors of reclaimed barn wood range from faded colored paints to gray, brown, and silver.

Longleaf meticulously salvages barn board from agricultural buildings throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Ohio River Valley. Originally sawn to protect crops, livestock, equipment, and farm materials from the elements, each board is now unique in character, color, and weathering pattern. Barn board is a highly sought-after wall paneling for restaurants, bars, and homes.

Longleaf’s stock of barn board changes weekly. Customers are always free to browse our barn board wall in the Cambridge warehouse, where we stock loose barn wood for smaller projects. Consistent lots of barn board salvaged from specific buildings are available in quantities of 100 square feet or greater. Samples of larger lots are provided upon request.
