FORE RIVER BRIDGE HEMLOCK

Only $3.50 per sq ft!!!

This limited lot of antique Hemlock was salvaged from the pilings which supported the old Fore River Bridge in Quincy, MA. Normally Hemlock is pretty boring wood, but the flooring that Longleaf is milling from these pilings is anything but! The blue clay of Boston harbor has penetrated through the blond wood and imbued it with an ethereal smoky blue cast. This is a great floor for a large open area asking for a rustic look.

3-1/4" - 8" wide. Random lengths 4' - 12'.   ~1006 sq ft

$6.50 per square foot.

Normally our graders separate clear boards from knotty boards, and we price the flooring accordingly.  In order to produce a more affordable Heart Pine floor,  we now offer the option of a mixed grade, "run of the mill", floor.  Whatever comes through the molder line is defected and bundled up - saves time, saves money.  Many of our competitors offer only this option and at a greater price.

No compromise in quality- just a great floor priced for not so great times!
